This laptop stand allows full airflow through my computer. My laptop started heating up a few minutes after I put it on this stand, it cooled down and doesn't overheat anymore (I've had the stand from a month to half a month). This laptop stand has different tilt positions. It can also vary from a 15 inch screen to a 9 inch screen. When it is in the tilt stage, there are legs that prevent the PC from sliding down. There are actually 2 legs, one for small screens and the other for large ones. There are rubber grips at the base of the holder to keep the computer from moving on the stand. I bought 2 of these bases. I have a 13 inch laptop and my husband has a 15 inch laptop and it didn't matter which laptop was placed on the base it provided the same application for both computers. It was easy to understand that my computer is now properly ventilated. Another feature of this base is that it is so portable. it will literally collapse into a device that can be held in one hand. I've been enjoying this base since I bought it.
