This is the best iron cleaning tool I have ever had. Usually when rinsing with warm water doesn't work and I don't want to use soap, this easily removes really stuck bits. Now there is no need for abrasive cleaning or lubricating the manifolds! Just a few circular motions of warm water over the pieces in the pan will loosen them. I've only had to use soap and water if I haven't washed the pan for hours (or all night if I'm a bad pan parent) or if something got seriously burned in a 450+ F oven.
