It was a perfect replacement for a 2009 Toyota Rav4
My 2009 Toyota key fob had a worn key fob housing so I replaced it with this housing. I removed the electronic transmitter from the original key and inserted it into the body of the new key fob. The metal key needs to be cut by a locksmith and I cut mine at the Ace hardware store for $17. If I had to have the key replaced at the dealer it would probably cost a few hundred dollars.
