Upon opening the box I found that the plastic and brackets it is packaged in are designed to withstand a heavy load. The mount arrived a day early and I was blown away by the solid construction. Made of aluminum and has a very good finish. Very easy to assemble and assemble, and it comes with a variety of L brackets to fit whatever you put in this thing. I drove about 8 miles today on very bad roads and with the tablet in it it didn't budge an iota of an inch. I will buy another one for my other car and one for my desk. I really love this item and if you are looking for a tablet stand you will not be disappointed. A very well made product which I understand is better than what the seller described. Maybe they're just being humble, but this thing is perfect!
