Doesn't get hot enough to melt cheese or toast bread.
I had one many years ago that was more powerful and got very hot. However, I do need to toast my bread before I make the turkey and cheese. It just doesn't get that hot. I have no idea how it works with hamburgers as I only make sandwiches with them. Doesn't get hot enough to melt cheese, much less toast bread. The one I had many years ago was wonderful. This one is not worth having.
