Review on 📻 8W Dual Band Two-Way Radio UV-5RE for Ham Radio Enthusiasts: Enhanced Battery, Hand Mic, Acoustic Tube Earphone, USB Programming Cable, NA-771 and SRH805S Antennas Included by Michael Jenkins

The only problem with this radio is the factory programming cable. Requires driver installation - they include a CD-ROM (who still has one?) and do not identify the chipset to load the driver. Searched the web and found that "BTECH PC03 FTDI Genuine USB Programming Cable" (on Revain) has a built in driver. True plug and play with CHIRP software. I love the battery life and the customizable configurations available in programming. The rest of the accessories appear to be good. The battery life seems exceptional! The cable issue was so simple it wasn't even worth downgrading a star.
