Excellent contact, works great on my gates.
My gate has play and opens/closes easily in the wind. There's also the usual gap to contend with. I have used a typical alarm reed switch and have had many false alarms due to the issues above. So far, after a few days of use, I can happily report that I haven't had any false alarms. The contact works exactly as I had hoped.
