Review on AOC G2460PF 1920x1080 Adjustable DisplayPort 144Hz Monitor with Tilt Adjustment, Flicker-Free Technology, Wall Mountable, USB Hub, G Series LED by Sam Chandler

Great monitor. Very impressive color for a tn panel.

build quality. The build quality is surprisingly good for the price. I see a lot of cheaper end monitors that have great displays but sacrifice build quality to keep the price reasonable. Fortunately, that's not the case here. The stand is nice and solid, and the height/angle adjustment is solid and feels comfortable. The frames are not the smallest, but definitely small enough for me. I like the design too, the matte plastic looks great and the little pop of red color makes it look like a gaming monitor without being too flashy. Very well done there. color quality. To be honest, when I read about tn monitors, I was very concerned that the colors would be completely washed out and my viewing angles would be terrible. I was very glad that wasn't the case. The colors seemed great to me and I really think you would only notice the lack of color quality if it were alongside ips. Other than that, they look great. The viewing angles are good too. But I would also like to point out that I use them for PC games. I'm directly in front of the screen 99% of the time I use it, so bad viewing angles aren't a disadvantage for me. 144Hz FreeSync - I'm in the process of upgrading my GPU so I'll update this part when I get the hardware to take full advantage of it. Why I chose this monitor - I wanted to test these 144 hertz free sync waters. Also, the 24 inch display is perfect for my 22-24 inch display which I like. Aoc is also a very good brand for gaming monitors. Also note that my computer build is a bit dated so I didn't feel like I could take full advantage of some of the new resolutions. So if your build is up to date I would probably consider a 1440p or 4k monitor. . All the gamer features are certainly good, but if you can run it, I think you'll like the extra pixels better. Also useful for those who haven't researched yet. If you have an AMD GPU, you need a free sync. If you have an Invidia GPU, you need G-Sync.
