Useless if the keyboard is not needed.
If you only want to use your iPad in landscape mode with your keyboard, this is a decent way to carry and protect it. However, you can't remove the iPad from it and keep any protection (and to do that you have to remove it from the included "sleeve" that attaches to the cover. A better design would be to be able to remove the iPad from the sleeve). . case, but still stick with the plastic/rubber case it's in (possibly with a slide-in and slide-out pocket or rails). Or with asymmetrical rotation. Then there will be dual-mode functionality when needed (e.g. all applications that only run in portrait mode; unfortunately many, such as Venmo).
