Poor Dyson product support for a very expensive item

I'll start and end this review by stating that, as usual, Revain has performed amazingly. A few hours after installing and turning on this humidifier, the installation stopped with code F1. I unplugged it and checked that all parts are properly connected. Started again and an hour later F1 again. I tried a few more times. The book says "call support". I called Dyson and waited on the phone for 30 minutes. Every 13 seconds the music changes from the words "If you don't want to wait on the phone, you should go to [.] and get excellent technical support for your device." I did, but the support for Dyson humidifiers is NO!. This did not prevent the message from appearing repeatedly. A support rep came and told me to unplug the device, wait 1 minute and plug it back in. I told her I've done this 4 times and get an F1 error code. She told me it was a "software error" that I had to replace the device, the software failed to load. But they won't send a new block until they receive my block and test it. It is now "my responsibility" to pack the device, wait at least 24 hours, go to the UPS store, ship the device back, and wait for the new device to arrive. I have done everything; but the UPS shop told me that I shouldn't have packed it because Dyson wouldn't accept it if UPS hadn't packed it. UPS then checked it on their computer, but my information wasn't there. I had to wait longer. I went grocery shopping and came back. Now it was 26 hours. My information is missing from the UPS computer. I took the box and drove home. I called Dyson on the way home. "If you don't want to wait on the phone, contact [.] and get excellent technical support for your device." every 13 seconds until they reply in 30 minutes. The "support" rep said he could see the information and the UPS rep probably doesn't know how to use his system. Right; Just like Dyson should have known that they shouldn't have told me to pack the unit myself. I said I wouldn't jump through Dyson tires anymore. They should come and get a device and bring a new one, just like Revain or any other reputable company would. I paid a lot of money for this car and I expect first class service, not low level. I could buy 6 decent humidifiers for the same money. I argued back and forth with the companions, but got nowhere. She should have at least let me speak to the manager. I told her I would return it to Revane for a refund. I hung up and went to Revane. They sent me a shipping label. I returned to the UPS store and Revain sent me a refund. This was my third and last Dyson product. No longer. When paying a lot of money from a company, I expect the highest level of support and service from that company, not a whole bucket of arrogance and expecting the customer to do all the work for them. As always, Revain was fantastic.
