The T-handle was attached at both ends making it impossible to thread the plunger assembly through the plate. I used a 1/4" drill bit to remove one of the ends of the T-handle. I then used a fat Phillips head screwdriver that just went through the hole (it gave more leverage and was more convenient) to turn the screw part. I can't explain how this manufacturing defect came about, either I was very unlucky or many people who tried to use the kit gave up and didn't bother to write a review or comment on the photo it was easy I just tried different calipers until I found one that fits my 2004 Maxima.
