This is a good brass cleaning ball with hard flux on the bottom. It is in the same place as my original when I bought the X-Tronic model 3020 soldering iron and works really well. Just take care of your top, don't put it on too tight or you will have trouble taking it off. I give the Flux Tip Cleaner 5 stars but because it's made in China it's 3 stars so the final score is 4 stars.
