I've read reviews that this is the best way to control oil flow during an oil change. I bought it and installed it and this report after the 1st oil change with it. It was easy to assemble and doesn't leak. When I removed the cover to install the special screw in the tool, oil started to flow out. I didn't have to screw the tool in, it dripped. I screwed the tool in and it came out quicker, but I was under the impression that the oil shouldn't drain when you're not using the tool. After all the oil was drained, I removed the part and inspected the gasket to see if anything was stuck. in the seal but didn't see anything obvious so my part wasn't sealed. Luckily it has a gold cap so it sealed well but the reason I bought it was so you could fully adjust the flow and mine didn't work. original plastic connector back. I wish I had my $80 back.
