Bought a set of 4 in 2 different colors. I use them for the ends of the Hennesy hammock so they should never approach their tensile strength. However, they're nice and light, so adding them to your setup won't be a hassle. I wanted 2 different colors so I can easily tell which end is which when I hang it up since the hammock's zipper is on one side. Also, I have 2 spares to hang my gear on the ridge. Everything is about the same price others are selling for just 2. The only thing I would have preferred is that the short flat end was longer since my wooden straps are 1 1/2" wide and these are 1 1/4". the end. This is secondary, however, as the standard method of hanging a Hennesy hammock is to tie the ropes through the ends of the strap multiple times. This crumples the ends of the straps far more than they ever would with them.
