Review on Microbe Lift Special Blend Aquariums 16 Ounce by Sarah Brown

(This is the same Special Blend review I do as recommended and use both together) So that arrived today. Will update as my cycle resumes after adding (today). (Special Mixture) Odor. Oh my god the smell. I read the reviews outside and was confused as to why I don't feel anything. So I sniffed. Then I got it for a while. It smells exactly how I imagine the smell of rotting corpses on the freeway. The smell is legal. Why I gave 4 stars. I will be using this with the Nite Out II as well as everything I've read says they go hand in hand. They say if you're planting live animals make sure you have a TON of oxygen in your tank. So make sure you use a few air stones in your tank as I assume this reduces the oxygen levels. So why are people killing their stocks with it? I'll let you know what my tests say in a few days. I am now in the middle of a cycle (low ammonia, high nitrite and nitrate) without fish. I have 4 tanks per atm. However, one of them has my Axoltol so I didn't use it in that tank. (Nite Out II) Doesn't stink like everyone else is supposed to. I will try to follow and read reading tanks every day. For now I'm only checking ammonia and nitrite rather than nitrate as I'm cycling and no matter how high they go - for now. (Added photos of three tanks from yesterday before anything was added) Mix and Nite Out II in Tank 1 (20 gallon height): BEFORE adding I had 0ppm ammonia and 1.0 nitrite. AFTER: No change Tank 2 (5 gallons): BEFORE: 0.50 ppm ammonia and 1.0 nitrite. AFTER: No change Tank 3 (10 gallons): BEFORE: 0 ppm ammonia and 2.0 nitrite AFTER: No change Tank 4 (20 gallons long with Axolotl inside): BEFORE: 1.0 ppm ammonia 2.0 nitrite AFTER: 0.50ppm Ammonia 2.0 Nitrite So, during Day 1: Not much has changed. Remember that prior to adding I was in the middle of a cycle and had about 0 ammonia for almost everything except a tank that had something living in it.
