Caused swelling/pain in the mouth.

I'm not sure if I'm allergic or have a problem with the product but I've used this toothbrush twice and had painful swelling and bleeding. My mouth and tongue are still sore from brushing in the morning. I've looked for allergic reactions to bamboo and read that it's unlikely, never had a problem with previous bamboo toothbrushes either. I'm not sure what's wrong with this product or it's just my experience but it's very important and I plan on throwing the rest of my toothbrushes away.
