I bought this for my ZTR mower hydraulic system. It was as described and worked like a champ. I can see it will be a great product for those who need a 12V independent cooling system.

I've had it on my truck for less than a year and the fan motor has already been shot up. The fuses started to blow and when I found the cause I found that the fan motor was stuck. The cooler itself is well made and does a decent job. Only the fan is junk.

The cooler arrived as pictured, no frills and not properly packaged and mine was also bent at the attachment point. I returned to my seat. Came with pipes. You need either a switch or a thermostat. I'll drive my Manuel, I'll have a fever in the truck. I will install it on the passenger side between the rails.

Appears to be a good product. I'll know more when it gets hot and my trance stays cool. I had to redo the brackets to fit behind the bars on my 2003 Ford Tour. I had to buy fittings to go from female nuts to barb ends so I could use Hayden rubber hoses to connect to the transmission cooler lines. The installation was really very easy.

For the past 2 years I have had engine and transmission heater issues on heavy towing (24K#s). Duramax engine, Allison transmission. Several times the computer told me to stop, otherwise it turned me off. Since installing this cooler I have had no other heat issues related to transmission temp or engine temp. I bought this item because the new truck didn't have a factory installed oversized transmission cooler. Wanted to be active when you have to tow the van over the mountains in hot weather. Thick aluminum brackets had to be mounted in the area between the radiator and the radiator grille, due to the significant free area it was possible to mount quite far below the surface of the radiator.
