Review on 🧪 Hanna Combo pH/EC/TDS/C/PPM Tester HI98129: Reliable and Efficient Multi-Parameter Testing Solution by Rhonda Jennings

Ok this is the second Hanna combo pen I have. I have been professionally involved in hydroponics for over ten years. I believe this is one of the best all in one pens you can get. After that has been said. I had to send my first one back as it didn't work at all! They couldn't even calibrate it. Returning it was very easy and Amazon sent a replacement quickly. So far so good with the replacement, although I still suspect it's not a genuine Hanna pen and may be a fake. I intend to contact Hannah to review and update if necessary. The only other reason I can think of why the original pin didn't work was that they don't come with ANY bearing lube like they should. Also my second one was bone dry on arrival and will definitely affect the life of the pen. The pH meter should NEVER be shipped with the correct storage solution to ensure the electrode is safe and usable. All in all, I wouldn't risk the purchase. I need it for work and don't have time to return it again and my local store is out of stock so I'm stuck. If you buy this make sure you test and recalibrate the pH every week.
