I would never buy that stupid (lots of swear words) monitor. Does it manage to display a clear image on the screen without corrupted pixels or glare? Oh yeah. If you only need one monitor for this, everything is fine. light it up However, to get a crisp 4K UHD picture, you really need a USB-C cable and a computer with a USB-C port on the back connected to a working graphics card. Without the extra bitrate, the picture is just 2K whether you use a DPI or HDMI cable. You don't get 4K UHD. With that in mind, it doesn't matter which cable you use, it's BS from the start. The energy-saving infrared human detector has never worked. The monitor also chooses when to listen to the Win10 power profile and when to just stay on all night. This can be an annoyance, but it can also cause screen burn-in and dead pixels, so it's a major downside. at B&H Photography online for smart reviews and stats), this monitor claims to be 10-bit, which is automatically HDR-compatible. It's not 10 bits. It's 8bit+. The last 2 bits are virtual. It's not HDR. If you need HDR, make sure your monitor is actually 10-bit, as many monitors even claim to be 10-bit in their product name when they're only 8-bit+. Considering I needed 10-bit, that's FUCKING. No, they don't ship the monitor with USB-C, although you won't get true 4K without it. I take and edit photos. Although the color palette in this system is good, it is simulated. While not true 10-bit, it is not true 100% sRGB/rec.703 color space either. The color simulation is good for gaming but not for photography. (*Remember, AdobeRGB is compressed; you don't get this huge color space unless you know how to decompress images.) In short, if you want a 4K UHD monitor in this size range with USB-C (you REALLY WANT IT) and true 10-bit HDR with full 100% sRGB/rec. gamma: keep looking. This monitor will probably disappoint you.
