The monitor is excellent, beautiful and good value. I have no problem with that. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it says this is a gaming monitor everywhere, even on the box. And although it has a DP cable connector, it comes with an HDMI cable, not a DP cable. It doesn't make much sense to me as DP is much better if you want to use one monitor for gaming and is mostly required if you want to have two or more monitors.

I mean it's cheap! Yes, 144Hz works. However, there are some caveats. There's quite a bit of smudging, the colors are kind of crazy, and I have a terrible window-screen effect when I look at it. My job just gives us a laptop that is really hard to work on for a long time: I'm very glad I chose it. The colors are bright, the screen is clear, good quality overall: my eyes are happy, the possibility of dividing the screen into 2 or 4 is a great feature that makes work much easier. If you use a cable with enough bandwidth, 4K at 60Hz is definitely possible over USB-C with both USB and Ethernet ports active. Just set the USB transfer rate to 2.0 and make sure the DisplayPort mode is set to 1.2. You'll probably only want to connect a keyboard and mouse to the display for docking, so slower speeds won't be an issue.

The only cable that came with it was HDMI. It runs at 120Hz, which is 120 frames per second. If you want to experience 144Hz, you need a Displayport cable that can handle 144Hz. By the way, there are no speakers. And it's amazing for gaming because I just switched from a 60hz monitor with a 2013 laptop to a pc with rtx 3060 so I really like 120hz.

I really liked my 43 inch Philips Momentum monitor. Now I can't work without it. I'm deducting a star because I may have to replace it in a year and a half. Excellent monitor, nothing to say decent. A big problem I had when it was my main monitor was that it made my eyes blood red so be careful how long you stare at it or use computer glasses to be safe.

I bought 2 of these monitors to replace my 24 inch home office monitors. I have no complaints. Picture quality is good, I like the thin bezels around the screen and they fit well on my adjustable monitor stand. Use them for gaming or video/photo editing so I can't comment on how well they work for those apps, but for my work app I'm very satisfied.

Ghosting on this 144Hz monitor adds too much artifacts to enjoy fast gaming. Even at maximum settings, ghosting is still very bad with major flaws in brightness and color. The ports interfere with standard VESA desktop mounts, I was still able to plug them in, but the cable management wasn't very pleasant. If you're looking to optimize your gear for Slippi Dolphin, look elsewhere. I returned two that I ordered.
