I did a lot of research before purchasing this monitor. My goal was to fit as many features into a 43 inch monitor as possible without requiring more than my previous home. After reading dozens of reviews of other monitors and some for this one, the Momentum won fairly easily, its 4k, HDR and color reproduction capabilities. As I create a lot of digital content for games, movies, marketing etc. these features were pretty important. I've had it for several years and it has stood the test of time. wonderful monitor. I thought about buying another one of these (the modern version) because it worked so well. Also, I have another 4k 43 inch monitor as a secondary monitor that has no "extra" features. It was only intended for storing websites, additional software, documents, toolbars, etc. while I got my work done on that main monitor. However, the difference between them is quite noticeable. I use a second monitor to check how the image I'm working on looks on a normal screen because I know most people don't have a well calibrated system. I should note that this monitor is not professionally calibrated. It simply has very good color rendering. The dark side of this business is the customer service. It literally does NOT exist! I'm not exaggerating. I spent hours trying to figure out a way to navigate through the customer service sections of their website to get help with a DVI port issue that wasn't working. When that didn't work, I tried all the numbers that were on their website and other numbers that I had to find using "network research". After several days with no result, I posted a message about the problem on my Twitter account and was contacted by a Philips representative. They tried to get their support staff to contact me and still nothing. So when you choose a Philips product, just know that if something goes wrong, you won't get after-sales service. Luckily this monitor has multiple HDIM ports to connect it to my computer. However, the loss of the DVI connector reduces the quality of this model's on-screen capabilities, bordering on unacceptable.
