I ordered this tray to create a cheap "standing desk" concept and also use it on my lap when relaxing. The tray came in one piece and didn't require assembly (thanks!). The legs are easily adjustable by pressing a button and moving the button down the leg. The legs can also be folded under the tray if required. I wasn't aware of this when I bought it, but the plastic piece that holds the laptop in place is removable, so if you're like me and don't tip the tray. , you can remove this piece. It's bigger than my laptop (Macbook Air) so it annoys me and I never use it. However, the part on the side of the mouse is not removable, but it is flexible rubber and much nicer. I have two criticisms: 1. The tray is not 100% stable, which means that it wobbles a bit when you put it on a table or table.2. As good as it is, there are no soft rubber feet on the legs. I was worried the legs would scratch my table so I just use it on something else. Both of these factors led me to conclude that it wasn't designed for the way I wanted to use it, so I hope this was helpful. if you intend to build a cheap bar table out of it. I still use it, but I don't like it for these reasons.
