It's big. No problem to store the iPhone X in a case. (Note: this wasn't a bulky case - a bit flimsy.) The headphone cord holder was a nice addition. I only had 2 problems: the size of the bag and the strap. It's big enough for a phone in a case, but it caused my phone to slide down, so swiping up was an issue. I had to pinch the bottom to lift the phone up a bit so I could swipe up. Otherwise, brush the bottom of the bag. Another issue is the strap. Or rather sticky. I have small arms and when I wrapped the strap tightly there wasn't enough fluffy side of the Velcro to grab it.
