I'm no genius but if you're really unfamiliar with these derailleurs you'd better pay close attention to how you take them apart and put them back together when swapping them out . Each wire coming out of the fan should go into the correct slot to ensure you are switching the fan speeds in the correct order. Not me. So now when I pull the chain to change the speed, I have to skip to get the right speed. There seems to be an easier way to tell which slot on the switch you're plugging the fan cable into. However, the switch works perfectly and I haven't had any issues since installing it.
