The dial on the unit is easy to read and the ability to rotate the nozzle to access dual tire configurations is a huge plus over traditional gauges. What I found most useful is the "Hold" function. This means that you don't always have to seal perfectly when tipping or encounter "blind" lands (like my inner tractor tire where the ridge faces the center of the vehicle). i can push it touch, then pull out the sensor and look at the value - a great help. The device makes a well-made impression. I don't plan on driving nails into it, but the rubber coating seems to protect it from reasonable falls or hopping around in the toolbox. The price is reasonable, so having one in both machines is a no-brainer.
