Perfect strong simple straps. I bought these to attach to the top trunk of a car with a broken hinge for extra security on the freeway. I didn't want a lot of extra weight and/or a strap that goes everywhere, I wanted something simple and easy to use. These worked great. I first tried a couple of ratchet straps and they were just a major pain - a giant heavy metal ratchet box that was difficult to hold, turn and tighten. They were much easier to install and unbuckle the straps. Simply press the clip lever and the strap will release. The velcro straps were also a nice touch and while I think they should be tucked away when not in use, I found it really helpful to be able to fold up the extra strap and tie the velcro for riding. Oh, and the rubber coating on the clips is durable and well designed so I never have to worry about pulling the straps off and scratching the car. Highly recommended!
