I look the look and feel of these "Black-out" curtains. They really are dark and no visible like comes through the curtain itself. They aren't a heavy as I expected but they seem to do the job. The size I got was almost perfect for my window size. I have a very old Home and have no standard size windows. Be sure to measure your window length and width and buy curtains that are at least 1 1/2 times wider than the window to the curtains will have room to slide and look good. I almost didn't do that and almost bought curtain that would have been to small and would have not looked as nice.I am a new home owner and have never hung curtains before.
