I bought these for the front luggage rack on my Lamborghini which doesn't have reverse tension like bonnet dampers so minimal locking force is required. In less than a month of driving and not opening the trunk more than 2 times, one of the buttons just fell apart and I found the broken button in my trunk. These knobs look great, they're aluminum and they feel nice. hard, but the facts don't lie. They are not reliable and not durable at all.
