We don't have a yard to let our Zolotaya out at night, so we take her for walks. At night we are afraid that passing cars will not see us. The lantern is attached to the dog's leash, so it's always with you. What I don't like is the battery. These are 2 CR1632s held together with plastic tie. When I replaced them I figured I could just attach them without the plastic strap. No luck and the strip is needed to prevent the batteries from touching the sides of the battery compartment. The insulating tape works.
