Adventure Lights on Lights & Lighting Accessories

great product I have 2 huskies and live in a 10 acre village and I don't dare let them out at night because when they play in the woods, man could never see her. I put 2 on a dog that didn't pass the vest. Now wondering how I find them, the comp is great too, I asked them how to wash the vest without turning off the lights, they were very helpful and said any other questions just contact them. They even gave me some suggestions.

Pros
  • top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • weak

great safety feature

Because we have a lot of property it is often difficult to see where our dog is when we let him out at night. It easily attached to their underground fence collar. So when the collar is put on at night I just turn on the red light and she goes away. If I call her and she doesn't answer (as skull and crossbones dogs often do), I can at least see where she is with a bright flashing light. I'm sure this would be a great addition if you were going to be walking your dog at night.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Requires power socket

Helps us stay safe at night.

We don't have a yard to let our Zolotaya out at night, so we take her for walks. At night we are afraid that passing cars will not see us. The lantern is attached to the dog's leash, so it's always with you. What I don't like is the battery. These are 2 CR1632s held together with plastic tie. When I replaced them I figured I could just attach them without the plastic strap. No luck and the strip is needed to prevent the batteries from touching the sides of the battery compartment. The…

Bright, secure but difficult to turn on

I give 4 stars because it works great and does its job. However, my only complaint is that you have to twist the light to turn it on and turn it back to turn it off. That's what the little protrusions on the red part of the lantern are for, to keep your fingers on. Sometimes it's very difficult to turn and these combs hurt my fingers. Therefore, this light is NOT suitable for people with low muscle tone in their arms. But I only took one star off this one because it's bright when it's on and…

Good light but too low profile

I bought the red one to clip on top of my dog's collar when he walks with me off leash on lightly loaded country lanes. The light is bright and well built, but its design is too understated. If your dog has a very short coat and is always head down, you will not be able to see this light from the front of the dog if the light is clipped at the top of the paint. Side and rear visibility is much better. I want it to sit an inch or so higher. So I bought the Nite-Ize Spotlit to attach to the…

Red is still in top form. My one year old dropped the collar and.

Does the job. The puppies can chase their glowing balls on the field and roam freely around the camp, but never go unnoticed. Up close, blue is brighter. This one is brighter from a distance. Blue has a shorter wavelength. They survive in the water, but after a decent amount of water they play briefly and stay lit until dry. As far as I can remember I try to take them off before the puppies jump. Red is still in top form. My 1 year old removed the collar and the blue one was completely…

It has more than paid for itself!

We have a black and tan dog who probably has a beagle somewhere. Obviously he's hard to see in the dark, and when he finds a smell his brain shuts off and his nose runs. I can't tell you how many times we've been looking for him in the wee hours of the morning! Getting this flashlight and clipping it to his collar saved us so much time and maybe saved his life! It attaches directly to his collar, and the funny thing is, the further he goes, the brighter the light seems. I'm so glad I found and…

Cons
  • Low maintenance

Sturdy, bright, works great!

I have one of those Houdini dogs that always finds a way out of the yard. This is my second, the first has survived many trips into the bush. White is very bright, blue complements it beautifully. I've used a plastic clip on one and velcro on the other, both work well as they stay attached but they move on the collar. On one, it tends to droop and obstruct light visibility. With two, it works as a counterweight: one hanging down and the other hanging up, at least until it moves down. A little…
