Bought specifically to wear while washing dishes. They are smooth on the inside and I wear plain white cotton gloves underneath for insulation and to protect my hands from winter dermatitis. I've found that my hands tend to tear easily in the winter when they're protected from latex and moisture. I bought a pair of cotton gloves from Revain which are cheap and used for handling delicate items and they fit right over these rubber gloves. Other flocked gloves will not work with this system.
