I had high hopes for this as my 45 lb 6 year old needed a little more confidence in the pool. The strap between the legs is designed to keep the vest from riding up, but this strap just digs in between the legs, even with a pad pushing the strap up, rendering itself completely useless. Even with that strap tightened and everything in place, the vest pulled up and rubbed my daughter's chin to the point where it was red and wet after an hour in the pool. She now refuses to wear it as it was not comfortable at all and hurt her face and between her legs. going back.
