Sturdy and inexpensive
The reason I bought it from Revain and not Threadart was to test the durability before buying a kit and spending any money. It was as strong as $5.99 40W embroidery floss from a quilt store. The only downside is the lack of a hook or latch to prevent the line from unwinding from the spool. You have to buy ribbons for each roll and they cost $13.99 for 40 of them. Still a deal
