The overall design of this product is practical, and cute. However the actual assembly process was a bit; for lack of a better term, confusing. Not necessarily Because the actual product itself was hard to put together or the instructions itself was hard to understand. But because of the way that this product is held together. I mean I guess on one level it makes sense with how thinly the walls are designed but to be blatantly honest I would rather have thicker walls on the product to actually have a screw to bite into rather than have a thin walled Shelf with just a thin slit that the teeth of the screws are supposed to grip along the sides. I don't know just the overall stability of the structure just seems a bit flimsy to me because of it. Also oh, some of the pieces did not quite want to align very well which also made the process of screwing in certain screws a little bit more difficult and therefore there's one or two screws on the sides which I think are the most integral part of keeping the whole structure together is not able to be screwed in all the way. Because the way that this piece is designed it wanted to buckle as he were trying to assemble it to then attempt to screw it together making the overall assembly process a little bit unstable and a little bit hard to do. I don't know I guess I'm just a bit finicky about the things that I want to keep my tools nice and neat and organized I want to make sure that I have them for a long time. And my concern is that if I were to one day need to move this and I accidentally drop it or bump it against something that the entire thing might be easily broken if I bump it hard enough. I've been pretty careful but sometimes I can be klutzy and so I like things that are a little bit sturdy. Otherwise all around cute product and so far it has been holding my pens and my resin tools quite swell.
