I'm editing this review. I bought this wagon at the time for my 14 year old 58 pound German Shepherd (he was bigger when he was younger). He has weakness in his hind legs from muscle wear and his hind legs buckle, causing him to fall. The vet said make sure he exercises and he gets depressed when he has nowhere to go. I only bought him for short walks so he could go to the dog park with me. However, we have since learned that he has degenerative myelopathy and is now 15 1/2 years old and weighs 50 pounds. The car has been unusable since purchase. I had to send it back because it was a waste of money. The trolley arrived semi assembled and was easy to put together. The problem was the lousy instructions on how to put a dog in it and their website doesn't offer much help either. The belt slips over the head and fastens under the bust. Its hind legs should be placed in holes covered with foam. How difficult was it to just print this out following your instructions and maybe take a picture of the dog in the very wagon you just sold me? Dining room, through the kitchen and the whole house. I wasn't sure if he wanted that thing off him or if he could actually move like he was young again! We took him for a short walk and it seemed like he had been carting his whole life. According to the instructions, the dog needs 2 weeks to get used to it. Buddy didn't mind the car at all and liked the attention of the neighbors. It had no problem walking on sidewalks or grass, the wheels were fine and moved well. The next day we tried the dog park. My joy quickly turned to anger when the side panel ripped off, causing the cart to malfunction and causing Buddy to fall and the cart to go with him. If you have a beloved senior pet, you can understand it when you see your heart breaking. I couldn't lift him and the chair by myself, the harness had to be removed and the cart partially disassembled for me to pick him up, luckily it was fine, but it ruined his experience at the dog park because we had to leave, and he was dejected. Since this is a medium sized cart and Buddy is too big for her, the side rails are long enough to fit the holes without dangling around too much. He's too small for the Big Dipper and I was afraid it would be too big for him. The side bars keep loosening as we walk and we have to tighten them. I just want to glue them in place or replace them all together. For 200€ I would have expected more. This cart is TERRIBLE Pros: 1. Rolls well on grass and uneven ground. Disadvantages: 1. Instructions on how to put a dog in are not clear. 2. Sidewalls should be longer and stronger. 3. Awkward to carry because it doesn't fold like others. 4. There is no stopper on the back, so if your dog loses his balance he will just fall over. We have only used this wagon 2 times as it also has front leg problems. This chariot is not very strong because he tries to sit down and if he is not caught he will fall and the whole chariot will fall with him. This is very frustrating. DO NOT BUY . Spend a little more and get a better, more durable cart.
