Really bad buy and therefore

I don't know what's going on here but I'm ashamed of all the 5 star reviews when this product is terrible. let me explain. 1) There's a reason shower rings are made in the shape of an exclamation point: it keeps them from tipping over and turning upside down. These oval rings are turned upside down when you first move the shower curtain. They are placed upside down with the rolling balls on the bottom, which means the rings will not scratch and ruin the surface of the shower rod. 2) The clasp is very cheap and flimsy. It's not a secure clasp and doesn't "push and move it down the spine" like a clasp. It's a tiny wire shaped like a hook at each end so the ends slide over each other. Since the wire is so small there is no pressure to keep them compressed. So, literally the first time I ever moved the curtain, several of the locking rings opened and fell off the pole. I assumed we didn't close them properly or something. So we put them back on and carefully made sure they were closed. We barely moved the curtain and it happened again. We've tried bending the halves of the metal ring against each other with light pressure to increase the pressure and putting them back together: it didn't help at all. I was happy with that. As a result, these rings will not stay on the stem, and if they stay on the stem, they will flip over and scratch the surface of the shower curtain stem. These rings are so bad that I have to wonder if customer reviews have been manipulated. If possible I would send them back. Keep in mind!
