Review on B.Tempt'D Women'S Future Foundation Contour Bra by Mary Ashford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just bought my sixth one!

I purchased the first one about a year and a half ago. I've never been one to spend $100 on a bra, so I wouldn't know how to compare it to the fancy stuff. But, have to say, as someone with sensory issues, this is the best I have found so far in my years of bra wearing.Pros: soft, silky yet breathable fabric inside, outside, all around the wire, etc.Smooths and compliments your natural shape - my spouse says these are his favorite on me, even though they are simple!Good stitching, durable straps, and no poking wires after many washesCons: does attract little lint balls after you wash it - for price point, way too small a deal to be upset aboutI wish the straps added a bit more support. They are quite stretchy, which probably helps with the comfort bit, but I don't love having to hike the adjustable plastic pieces almost to the top of my shoulders to feel secured. If you have a smaller cup size and/or haven't breastfed, this might not be an issue.Longevity is fair - my 1 1/2 year old bra is starting to now be a little too loose in the band. I skip that one if I'm gonna be out and about, but at home it works fine. (Worth nothing that these are comfortable enough, that unless it's shark week, I do choose to wear them around the house!) I will be honest that I just wash and dry them by machine, so that could contribute to wear.Overall, I do think these are the best for price range.

Pros
  • Lingerie
Cons
  • It may not be able to offer the same kind of support for women with different breast shapes
