Paint chipped after 2 months

Yes it would be better if the top rolled up but I've watered it with no problems and my hermit crab has been using it for a month and it hasn't tipped over. Just use your common sense and fill it out carefully and that's great. The problem is that after a while the paint in the water bowl comes off and my crab drinks the rest of the paint.
