Overall, I really like this product. It's not as bright as the previous product I bought a few years ago (which is no longer available), but otherwise it's just as good. I had to buy some connectors https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A610N7M/ for the lights as I couldn't connect them in all my closets with very short connectors on the ends of the lights. I wanted to mention one more thing. This 12 inch led strip kit gives a little glow when the lighted wall switch is off. A set of 16 inch LED strips https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B072PVDQ8W/ from the same manufacturer does not light up. I know this because both products are connected to the same switch. If you like a dim glow under your cabinets at night (night light?) then these 12 inch lights are for you. If that's not acceptable, hopefully all of your closets will fit the 16-inch version.
