Works great with security cameras so far

This is my fourth Amcrest camera so I was able to try out a few different models. It's really easy to set up initially if you have the Amcrest Pro app on your phone. Connect the camera to your router/switch, open the app and select "Add Device" in Device Manager, then scan the QR code and follow the instructions to add WiFi. After adding it to Wi-Fi, you can unplug it from the router and see it in the app. You have the option of flipping or mirroring the image so that the photos appear correctly if you mount it upside down on the ceiling. This camera has a few new features that I haven't used in previous ones that were fun to try. The first is auto tracking, where the camera attempts to pan/tilt a person or object moving in space to track them. I've tested it a couple of times, it worked fine and I'm not sure I'll keep it on as a daily option. Record any video. This can be useful if you have guests at home who don't want to be recorded. The microphone and speaker seem to work well, I don't usually use them on my other cameras. However, since this camera does not have an optical zoom, the image quality is excellent, so that good photos are still produced even with the digital zoom. Overall I'm very happy with this camera and don't expect any issues like other cameras I've had. for a few years and it works great.
