Works well as it does its main job of charging my Surface Go. The price was the most attractive thing when I bought it and since I didn't buy it as a main charger I was less worried about just relying on it. However, I am very happy with the purchase. Now a few pointers that may be helpful to those looking for this product for a reason other than mine. 1. It's a little bigger than the MS original and I mean /a little/. I only mention this because a few mm difference was evident in the particular surge protector I was using (it didn't match well with the other connector in the strip - the MS connector matched well). The cord is a bit shorter (less than 12 inches, but noticeable when I'm lying in bed) 3. The magnet isn't that strong (I haven't had any problems with it, but it's noticeably weaker). It's significantly lighter (which would make me question the overall long term reliability in terms of build quality BUT it's 50% cheaper so that's to be expected (for me)).
