My cat Casper is 20 years old so yes he has a sensitive stomach. For the past few years I've only had it in cans, but it's getting very expensive! And yes, his food bowl is raised 5 1/2 inches. So I tried introducing many different types of hard cat food to supplement his diet and give my wallet a break. No matter what brand or formula I tried, he kept throwing up. UNTIL I find it! First, fortunately, he likes it. Casper got very picky as he got older. Second, it's been a good half a year since I bought it and my cat hasn't even thrown up after eating this solid food. It is not only good for him, but also for his sensitive digestive tract. That saves me a lot of money because I now eat one, sometimes two small cans of soft food every day and he eats cat food in between. He's happy and I'm happy about that. I will continue to buy this cat food and will recommend it to other people who have older cats with sensitive stomachs. I know the packaging doesn't say it's for a sensitive stomach, but it works. I've spent a lot of money on other solid products that were designed to do just that.
