This product (IR Obstacle Avoidance Sensor) does NOT match the description! First, the output is 0.0V when the light is on (activated) and +3.2V when the light is off (not active). Completely contrary to what is in the description! Also, the description states that the output is a "digital 0 or 1", which again is completely false and misleading. The output signal comes from the analog voltage comparator LM393. It is not clear to me where they get "digital 0 or 1" from, because it is clearly an analog device! I received the schematic that I have attached to this review. This was evident from the circuit diagram, but to make it official I ran the schematic through SPICE. Of course, the device is designed and manufactured to turn on the light and turn off the voltage when IR radiation is detected. Interestingly, if they just swapped IN+ and IN- on the LM393, this product would work as it should, albeit still analog. This seller has known this since they started selling this product but continues to misrepresent and sell this product.
