This is a good size portable USB hub. This allows you to expand the USB 3 port and HDMI output for devices that do not have or need an additional video output. It also has readers for standard cards and micro SD memory cards. The cards are inserted upside down, which seems a bit strange, but other than that the readers work great. The transfer speed is the same as my built in SD reader and I love that it has separate SD card slots for both sizes. The aluminum case is small, light and easy to carry. For what it is I have no complaints. This is a simple hub with basic functionality. I have more advanced nodes for more specialized energy use. As a primary portable hub, or even an everyday stationary hub on a computer with limited ports and no SD card reader, this is more than enough.
