So far so good, not plug and play
I have a 2000 Ford F150 XLT and it is NOT plug and play. Thanks to the guy who pointed out which wires went where so I could hook it up. Works well and looks cool. I've ordered cheaper ones online and never received a seal. This one comes with a good gasket and is much better quality than the $12 ones. I wish it was plug-n-play, but if you're not afraid of cutting wires I recommend it.
