Bought this for my 1984 Celica Supra, the build quality seems decent although some imperfections in the fit and finish left something to be desired. Installing the switch itself was pretty easy, four screws to remove the old switch. and it falls. Reinstalling the console around the shifter was a little tricky, but after removing the top of the shifter the console snapped back into place with no issues. I worked with the shifter rubber boots to reattach the top of the shifter and with some effort it snapped back into place. Compared to the factory W58 derailleur, its travel has probably been reduced by 50-75%. It's a huge difference and nice to paddle through the aisles. The angle of the shifter is slightly more vertical than the factory shifter, meaning I have to reach further to reach it. It's not perfect but I can fix it by heating it up and pushing the shifter further back and this may not be a problem on other cars.
