This product works great once set up. Be sure to read the instructions for correct programming. I have a wooden light/lid on my 55 gallon tank and I just drilled a 1 1/4" diameter hole along one side of the lights and air hoses. Then I covered the hole with a piece of paper and attached the unit manually guided over different places until I found the place where the minimum amount of food did not fall and drew the outline of the position of the device from above and removed the paper for use .. The original batteries are still working since I got them Used early June.Recommendation - don't leave the flake less than half full and make sure you grind large flakes a bit to get the scoop working efficiently.My fish are happy and I'm happy.I'm for a long one Weekend or vacation away and they're fine!
