Plug and Play - External Components

There is nothing simpler. I simply plugged my mic and headphones into the correct jack shown and plugged them into an available USB port on my PC. Instant sound. I had to turn the volume down because the audio actually sounded louder than when the headphones were plugged into the headphone jack. I have this because my PC doesn't have a microphone slot. Both the microphone and the headset work great. The small form factor doesn't protrude much beyond the back of the PC, even with cables attached.
