Poor design/manufacturing

First of all, I'm a craftsman with 29 years of experience, so I know how to use this tool and how it's supposed to work. I was very disappointed with that. I bought this to replace my version of Lisle that someone "borrowed" and didn't return. As soon as I opened the box it looked poorly made (the handles are uneven and the ends of the jaws are misaligned) but if it worked as intended I could handle it with no problem. It didn't grab the first CV trunk strap I tried it on. The jaws kept slipping off the crimp tab on the boot collar. I had to resort to the help of wire cutters to crimp the terminal. I just ordered Lisle 30800 CV pliers because I need a tool that actually works. The $16 savings on a cheaper tool wasn't worth the degradation caused by the inability to function. Time is money.
