I received my Wyze headphones today so I only used them for about an hour. I will post an update if more experience is needed. After about an hour of use, I have to say I'm very impressed with the features. Obviously a lot of thought has gone into the design of the user interface. For example, it was very clever to do a "put your hand on the right earbud" gesture and put the earbuds in transparent mode (which amplifies ambient noise so you can clearly hear who's trying to talk to you). It also made a lot of sense to put a sensor in the headphones that would detect when you're wearing them and then allow that sensor to send a "pause" audio command to the audio source when you take the headphones off. The sensor sends a "play" command when you put the headphones back on, and the audio track continues where you left off. In short, the feature set is very advanced. Now for the sound quality. The headphones are a bit weak. Don't get me wrong - the sound quality is by no means bad. It's actually pretty good, but doesn't quite measure up to more expensive noise-cancelling headphones. I've been using the Jabra Evolve 75 headset for several years, which sells for $250 or more, and this headset delivers significantly better sound quality. The Wyze headset produces ringing low frequencies and bright high frequencies when using the default EQ profile (i.e. with a flat frequency response), but the midrange is a bit washed out. That's something I've noticed listening to the music I've been listening to for decades, so I know what it's supposed to sound like. For example, a few seconds after the first hit, the cymbals sound too much like a hiss rather than a musical instrument. But this effect is very subtle, and many people won't even notice it even if they listen to it. But at this price I'm very happy with the headphones overall.
